Lindbergh making masks optional was the right move, writes student

Letters+to+the+editor

To the editor:

I am a student at Lindbergh High School. I want to give my opinion on masks at school. It was difficult to speak clearly and hard to concentrate.

Lindbergh made masks optional recently. This decision makes my school day better.

It is understandable that optional masking is concerning to some people. Lindbergh Schools has the policy that if positive cases do not exceed 1.5 percent of a school’s student and staff population, masks will be optional. They track numbers regularly.

I thank Lindbergh for the news we have been waiting for. Being able to see the faces of my friends and teachers adds to the school day in a positive way.
