Affton Superintendent Travis Bracht was recently selected as a regional president of the Missouri Association of School Administrators (MASA). He will represent the Greater St. Louis region for the 2026-2027 school year, acting as one of eight regional presidents across Missouri.
“Our Region Presidents play a critical role in keeping members connected and informed,” MASA stated. “They help organize and facilitate regional meetings, coordinate with Regional Representatives and MASA leadership, oversee standing committee activities within their regions, and ensure important information, initiatives, and opportunities are communicated to members throughout the year.”
This honor comes several months after Bracht received the 2026 Superintendent of the Year title. The title was given to him in October by the Missouri School Boards Association (MSBA). Bracht also serves on the Board of Directors for EducationPlus, a nonprofit educational service agency in St. Louis. He was nominated to that board in 2024.
“It’s a true privilege to step into these roles with MASA and EducationPlus this year,” Bracht said. “Both organizations do incredible work behind the scenes to champion our public schools, our teachers, and — most importantly — our students here in St. Louis. I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to serve, and I look forward to bringing everything we learn and build together right back home to support our community here in Affton.”
