Local news needs your support

It’s been a tough few months for all of us as the coronavirus outbreak changes life as we know it. Whether in Oakville, Sunset Hills, Crestwood, Green Park, Concord, Affton, Lemay or anywhere else in our coverage area, we are all in this together.

Your support comes at a critical time for Call Newspapers and helps our team continue to provide local news coverage during COVID-19.

Just like every business, this crisis has deeply affected our locally owned, independent newspaper. We are one of the only newspapers still covering school districts, fire districts, local city governments and the County Council, your government at work.

Many of the most faithful advertisers who have been with us for decades are closed due to stay-at-home orders. These local businesses and organizations are critical sources of revenue for our community newspaper.

Readers and local businesses have called us during this crisis to tell us that we are their “lifeline” to the community and have asked how they can help.

The donations raised will support Call Newspapers and our focused community news and coronavirus coverage.

“We dedicate ourselves to the public, holding its welfare in the highest regard and standing firmly in opposition to any who would oppose it,” is the Call’s mission statement.

The Call upholds our readers’ welfare as our highest ideal, and continues to provide reporting of vital news to connect you with your community.

Thank you for your continued support. Stay safe.
