Get a free mammogram | The Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Washington University School of Medicine is offering free mammograms to women age 40 and above. The Siteman Mammogram Screening Van will be at the Grant’s View Branch of the St. Louis County Library, 9700 Musick Road, from 9 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Mammograms are available at no cost to women who qualify. Lindbergh Blvd. The sales will benefit Gateway to the Great Outdoors, a program that partners with local Title I public schools where students often have limited access to experiential learning, investigation and time in outdoor spaces that support well-being and mental health.

Dive into history | The Sons of Union Veterans Ulysses S. Grant Camp #68, in partnership with Ulysses S. Grant National Historic Site and the Allied Orders, will be performing a death commemoration ceremony to mark 140 years since President Grant’s passing. The program includes speeches and a wreath-laying ceremony. This event will take place outdoors at the Ulysses S. Grant National Historic Site, 7400 Grant Road, from 10 a.m. – noon. Immediately following the ceremony, the park will host a lecture by noted Grant historian Dr. Brooks Simpson at 11:00 a.m. in the Visitor Center theater.
