Grant National Historic Site and the Allied Orders, will be performing a death commemoration ceremony to mark 140 years since President Grant’s passing. The program includes speeches and a wreath-laying ceremony. This event will take place outdoors at the Ulysses S. Grant National Historic Site, 7400 Grant Road, from 10 a.m. – noon. Immediately following the ceremony, the park will host a lecture by noted Grant historian Dr. Brooks Simpson at 11:00 a.m. in the Visitor Center theater.
