Following a bout of inclement weather and a few outdoor event cancellations in the area, the skies cleared up on the evening of June 17, allowing Colonel Ford to take the stage at the Ulysses S. Grant National Historic Site. The local band — whose sound is described as “electrified vintage country” — played classic songs primarily by famous Missourians to an enthusiastic crowd.
