Chinese need to be held accountable for coronavirus, a reader says

Letters to the Editor

To the editor:

The Chinese need to be held accountable for coronavirus. This is the third pestilence they have unleashed on the world in just this century. Swine flu, SARS and now COVID-19. A trillion dollars in market value vaporized, billions spent by our government and others to try and contain it.

Not to mention the cost in human sickness and deaths. Because they allow these filthy wet markets to exist, unless brought to the table this will happen again and again, new viruses with new consequences.

Please press our federal elected officials to pass legislation or tax incentives to bring our manufacturing back to our shores. We don’t need their cheap products and certainly not their witches’ brews of diseases.
