To the editor:
Dear Green Park neighbors … You would do well attending an alderman meeting once in a while. I was there April 20, where the council passed a motion to build a dais so the board can be above the guests who attend these meetings. If memory serves, the winning bid was about $12,995. Really? This is so the dozen or so attendees can see and hear them? That’s $1,000 per attendee at a given meeting. Seems that Theresa and Joe and this board are on a runaway spending train. And then they went into a closed door meeting … What happens behind closed doors? Do tell!
