To the editor:
What really makes me sad is the lack of communication of information about this project with the public. Apparently since 2022, they have been deciding to put the sidewalks in. We do not need them and to get rid of green space and trees. For what? More concrete and asphalt? That is not what we need in this day and age. As climate changes, we need to keep our green spaces. I felt very disrespected and sad when I received the letter on March 26. Thanks City of Crestwood — that’s sarcasm, FYI. Oh, and by the way, they consider Sappington a major thoroughfare, and would rather the children not walk to school; they wanted them to be driven or to take the bus.
