From state to local contests in Missouri, St. Louis County and South County, several important elections were decided Tuesday, Nov. 8.

St. Louis County has released 100% of votes as of 10:34 p.m. Tuesday. Results are unofficial.

There were few upsets on election night and in South County, as most incumbents appeared to win reelection in their races.

State Reps. Jim Murphy and Michael O’Donnell, both R-Oakville and both incumbents, were reelected to continue representing the 94th House District and 95th House District respectively in Jefferson City. Democrat Michael Burton of the 92nd House District, which covers Affton, was also reelected in his race against Republican Bob Mahacek.

County Executive Sam Page defeated challenger Mark Mantovani, the former Democrat-turned-Republican who entered the race just a few weeks after the August Republican primary winner for county executive, South Countian Katherine Pinner, dropped out of the race.

In other county races, Prosecuting Attorney Wesley Bell won reelection against Theo Brown Sr., and Jake Zimmerman will remain the county assessor after defeating challenges from Peter Pfeifer, Nicholas Kasoff and Don Fitz.

Missouri Constitutional Amendment 3 was also approved statewide, legalizing recreational marijuana.
