Voters check in to cast their ballots at the Sunset Hills Community Center during the April 2019 municipal election.

These are the final, unofficial election results for South County from the April 2 election as of Wednesday morning, with 100% of precincts reporting. Look for continuing coverage online and in upcoming print editions of The Call.

There are 633,978 registered voters in the county; 103,648 ballots were counted for a 16.3%% voter turnout rate.

Lindbergh School’s Proposition R, a $150 million no-tax-rate-increase bond measure, won with over 70% of the vote. The bond will be used to fund continued facilities and safety improvements across the district, building on the work of 2019’s Prop R.

In the Mehlville School District, all four incumbents running for the board, Tori Behlke, Peggy Hassler, Patrick McKelvey and Jean Pretto, earned another term. Behlke and McKelvey will serve a three-year term, while Hassler and Pretto will serve a two-year term.

In Sunset Hills, Mayor Pat Fribis was reelected to her fifth term as mayor, while Casey Wong will serve another aldermanic term after defeating challenger Christine Lieber.
