St. Louis County police are searching for Trevor Daley, a 20-year-old suspect in the February deadly shooting in Oakville that left two dead, including a 15-year-old.
Daley is facing multiple charges: two counts of second-degree murder, one count of assault, three counts of armed criminal action, and delivery of 35 grams or less of marijuana or synthetic cannabinoid to a person less than 17 years old and two years younger.
Daley’s arrest warrant, issued on Feb. 14 and initially sealed to preserve the investigation’s integrity, was made public Thursday.
Daley is among four individuals implicated in the fatal incident. Others charged include Tyler Coleman, 19, and Zachary Hough, 18, both facing murder and other charges. Bryce Mers, 18, of Fenton, was also charged with murder, armed criminal action and attempted robbery.
Both Coleman and Hough were students in the Mehlville School District.
The victims, identified as Collin Courtwright, 15, and Tyree Williams, 16, were fatally shot Feb. 5 on Chalet Hill Drive in Oakville.
According to a probable cause statement from police, Mers had arranged to trade marijuana cartridges for cash with Hough via Snapchat, with plans to rob Hough disclosed to others on the day of the shooting. The exchange turned deadly when Courtwright, arriving with Williams and Mers, attempted to rob Hough at gunpoint, which led to Daley opening fire, resulting in the death of Courtwright and Williams and the wounding of Mers.
The police are urging anyone with knowledge of Daley’s location to contact the St. Louis County Police Department at 636-529-8210. To remain anonymous, or potentially receive an award, contact CrimeStoppers at 1-866-371-TIPS (8477).
