Friday, March 10

• St. Matthias the Apostle Catholic Church, 800 Buckley Road, is hosting a fish fry every Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. now through the end of March. There will be dine-in and carry-out meals available. Cost is about $13 a meal.

• St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, 2761 Telegraph Road, is hosting a fish fry every Friday, including Good Friday, until Easter from 4:30 to 7 p.m.

• SAJE Senior Ministry is hosting chair yoga at 10:30 a.m. at Concord Trinity United Methodist Church, 5275 S. Lindbergh Blvd. Admission is $3 and SilverSneakers is accepted.

• SAJE Senior Ministry is hosting ZumbaGold at 11:30 a.m. at Concord Trinity United Methodist Church, 5275 S. Lindbergh Blvd. Admission is $3.

• The Affton Community Center, 9801 Mackenzie Road, is hosting open pickleball from noon – 1:30 p.m. and 1:45 – 3:15 p.m. Admission is $2 per person or free for Renew Active and SilverSneakers members. Reservations start Monday, call 314-615-8822.

• The Meramec Valley Branch of the St. Louis County Library, 1501 San Simeon Way, is hosting an extreme game night at 6:30 p.m. for ages 12 to 17. Registration required at slcl.org/events.

Saturday, March 11

• The Weber Road Branch of the St. Louis County Library, 4444 Weber Road, is hosting Lego club at 2 p.m. Legos will be provided by the library. For children ages 5 to 12.

• The Affton Community Center, 9801 Mackenzie Road, is hosting open pickleball from 11 – 1 p.m. and 1:15 to 3:15 p.m. Admission is $2 per person or free for Renew Active and SilverSneakers members.

Sunday, March 12

• The Crestwood Elks are holding a spring meat shoot every Sunday at 11 a.m. from now through March 26 at the Crestwood Elks Lodge 2503, 10261 Bauer Road. Free soup and chili for all.

Monday, March 13

• The Oak Bend Branch of the St. Louis County Library, 842 S. Holmes Ave., is hosting “The History and Mystery of Music: The Improbable Rise of R.E.M.” at 7 p.m. Learn about how R.E.M. started as a small label and grew into stardom. For adults. Registration required at slcl.org/events.

Tuesday, March 14

• GriefShare meets at 6:30 p.m. at Lutheran Church of Webster Gardens, 8749 Watson Road.

Wednesday, March 15

• The Kiwanis Club of South County meets at 12:30-1:30 p.m. at Frailey’s Southtown Grill, 4329 Butler Hill Road.

• South County Toastmasters meets at 6 p.m. at the Sunset Hills Community Center, 3915 S. Lindbergh Blvd.

• The Rotary Club of Crestwood and Sunset Hills meets at Jubilee Church, 10801 Sunset Office Drive, at noon.

Thursday, March 16

• Share a story with reptiles and amphibians from the St. Louis Herpetological Society at Grant’s View Branch of the St. Louis County Library, 9700 Musick Road, at 6:30 p.m. Bring your own book or borrow one. For ages 6 to 11.
