This summer, the St. Louis County Library and Operation Food Search are teaming up to provide free lunches to children at six library locations. One of the sites, and the only one in South County, is the Weber Road Branch, located at 4444 Weber Road.
Through Aug. 14, lunch and activities will be provided at the select library branches Monday through Friday from noon to 1:00 p.m. Pizza will be offered each Friday. Meals must be eaten on site and are only available free of charge for children 18 and under.
Other participating branches are the Florissant Valley Branch, 195 N. Florissant Road South, 63031; the Lewis & Clark Branch, 9909 Lewis-Clark Blvd., 63136; the Natural Bridge Branch, 7606 Natural Bridge Road, 63121; the Prairie Commons Branch, 915 Utz Lane, 63042; and the Rock Road Branch, 10267 St. Charles Rock Road, 63074.
All groups wishing to participate must contact a hosting branch at least 24 hours prior to attending to ensure that the proper number of meals are ordered.
