Friday, May 30
- Connect with others | Parents looking for a mid-morning pick-me-up and a place to meet other caregivers are invited to Coffee & Chaos at the Meramec Valley Branch of the St. Louis County Library, 1501 San Simeon Way. Bring your child, ages 0 to 5, and enjoy a cup of java with other adults while the kids play. This free event is at 10 a.m., with no registration required.
- Watch a movie | Come to the Cliff Cave Branch of the St. Louis County Library, 5430 Telegraph Road, for a family movie. In honor of Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month, the library will be showing a familiar favorite, “Lilo and Stitch,” at 2 p.m. Children and families are invited to settle in, watch the movie and enjoy “AAPI snacks.”
- Get your workout in | SAJE Senior Ministry will host chair exercises at 10:30 a.m. at Concord Trinity United Methodist Church, 5275 S. Lindbergh Blvd. Admission is $3 and SilverSneakers is accepted.

- Practice your art | Teens and adults looking for crafts and social time can pop over to the Grant’s View Branch of the St. Louis County Library, 9700 Musick Road, from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. Bring your needlework — whether that be knitting, crocheting or more — and enjoy your own creations in the company of others.
- Learn about nature | The Cliff Cave Branch of the St. Louis County Library invites children ages 3 to 11 to their location, 5430 Telegraph Road, for a fun morning learning about reptiles and birds. Animal ambassadors from the World Bird Sanctuary will be there from 10 – 11 a.m. to teach attendees about the similarities and differences of scaly and feathered creatures.
- Play pickleball | The Affton Community Center, 9801 Mackenzie Road, will host open pickleball from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 1:15 – 3:15 p.m. Admission is $2 per person or free for Renew Active and SilverSneakers members. Reservations start Monday at 8 a.m. by calling 314-615-8822.

- Join in worship | Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 3600 Hampton Ave., has worship in-person every Sunday, or recorded and streamed from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. on Facebook and YouTube.
- Join in worship | Worship with Embrace Church, 314 S. Clay Ave., at 6 p.m. whether you join in-person or via Zoom.
Monday, June 2
- Dive into history | The Missouri History Museum presents a new civil rights exhibition at the Grant’s View Branch of the St. Louis County Library, 9700 Musick Road. The exhibit will dive into the Civil Rights Movement in St. Louis from the 1850s through the 2010s, highlighting Supreme Court cases, as well as monumental moments like Ferguson or the March on Washington. This exhibition will be open for most of the month of June, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Go for a scavenger hunt | Kick off Pride Month with a free Pride Scavenger Hunt at the Cliff Cave Branch of the St. Louis County Library, 5430 Telegraph Road. The scavenger hunt will include influential LGBTQ+ figures, and there will be a small prize for winners. Join the hunt anytime from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Tuesday, June 3
- Practice your art | Children ages 3 to 6 are invited to the Budding Artists series — a program that teaches young kids to be artists. The event will be held from 10 – 11 a.m. at the Weber Road Branch of the St. Louis County Library, 4444 Weber Road. Participants in this free activity should dress for messiness.
- Have some soapy fun | From 10 a.m. to noon, the bubble bus is rolling up to the Meramec Valley Branch of the St. Louis County Library, 1501 San Simeon Way. Children ages 0 to 5 are invited to this free event, where they can play in the soap and suds.
- Connect with others | The Take-Off Pounds Assembly meets from 9 – 10 a.m. at 824 Union Road.

Wednesday, June 4
- Stretch out | Join fellow adults for yoga at the Weber Road Branch of the St. Louis County Library, 4444 Weber Road. Yoga is a great technique for relieving stress, increasing flexibility and improving strength — and don’t sweat if you’re a beginner. Just bring a towel or mat and comfortable clothes for this free event from 7 – 8 p.m.
- Connect with others | Join other veterans at “Veterans Coffee Talk” hosted at American Legion Post 162, 9305 S. Broadway Street, at 9 a.m. every Wednesday. Conducted by Saint Louis Vets Connect, “Veterans Coffee Talk” was created so veterans can enjoy the brotherhood shared by all branches of service, providing a non-political atmosphere where their stories and valor can be shared. Free donuts and coffee – and occasionally breakfast – will be provided.

Holmes Ave., for a presentation on The Muny: America’s oldest and largest outdoor theatre. Teens and adults can explore the theatre’s impact on St. Louis culture from 2-3 p.m. This event is free, but registration is required.
