Tower Tee will close Sunday, July 8, but owner Steve Lotz is inviting the golf course’s many customers back for one final day of fun, food, drinks and great music with a farewell concert from 1 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the course, 6727 Heege Road.

Tower Tee invites attendees to the “Tower Tee Amphitheatre,” also known as the driving range, for the free concert, which is open to the public.

“Just buy a few beers to help us offset the cost of the event,” the golf course posted on its Facebook page.

Attendees will see Rogers & Nienhaus from 1 to 3 p.m., Joe Dirt and the Dirty Boys Band from 3:45 to 6 p.m. and That ‘80s Band from 6:45 to 9 p.m.

Tower Tee asks that no outside alcohol be brought in. The course will be selling beer, cash only.

Feel free to bring a chair, a blanket, an umbrella and a picnic lunch. Admission and parking is free on the golf course.

The golf course is closing after 55 years to make way for a potential subdivision.
