Friday, April 26 

  • SAJE Senior Ministry is hosting chair yoga at 10:30 a.m. at Concord Trinity United Methodist Church, 5275 S. Lindbergh Blvd. Admission is $3 and SilverSneakers is accepted.

  • The Affton Community Center, 9801 Mackenzie Road, is hosting open pickleball from noon – 1:30 p.m. and 1:45 – 3:15 p.m. Admission is $2 per person or free for Renew Active and SilverSneakers members. Reservations start Monday at 8 a.m. by calling 314-615-8822.
  • Hang out with other teens and play video games at “Teen Gaming Lounge” hosted by the Grant’s View Branch of the St. Louis County Library, 9700 Musick Road, from 3:30 – 4:30 p.m. You can bring your own or use the library’s consoles. Snacks will be provided. Open to ages 12 – 18.

Saturday, April 27 

  • Canaan Baptist Church – Windsor, 6701 US Hwy 61-67 Imperial, MO, is hosting its annual Senior Resource fair from 9 a.m. – noon. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with local organizations, healthcare professionals and service providers offering a wide range of senior-specific resources. A light breakfast will be provided while supplies last. The event is free.
  • Bring your plants, seeds, bulbs, tools, books and other gardening supplies to swap with fellow gardeners at “Spring Plant Swap” hosted by the Oak Bend Branch of the St. Louis County Library, 842 S. Holmes Ave., from 10 – 11 a.m. Plants should be divided, brought in containers and labeled. Stay for refreshments! Open to adults. 
  • The Grant’s View Branch of the St. Louis County Library, 9700 Musick Road, is hosting “Needle & Thread” from 10 – 11:30 a.m. Bring your crewel, cross-stitch, needlepoint, embroidery or any projects to learn and work on in the company of others. Open to teens and adults. 
  • The Meramec Valley Branch of the St. Louis County Library, 1501 San Simeon Way, is hosting “LEGO Club” from 10 – 11:30 a.m. LEGOs will be provided. Open to ages 5 – 11.   • No matter your age, the Ulysses S. Grant National Historic Site, 7400 Grant Road, invites you to explore, learn and protect on National Junior Ranger Day. This event is from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
