Jack and Jane Buelt celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary Aug. 30 with 20 family members at a dinner at Sunset Country Club.
The couple have three children – Greg, Jayne and Mike, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Jack is a St. Louis University graduate. He served two years in the Air Force during the Korean conflict prior to joining Price Waterhouse, from which he has since retired as a partner.
Jane was a secretary for several sales executives at Tretolite Corporation, but retired after the birth of the couple’s first child. She later went back to work as a secretary for an arbitration attorney.
The couple lives in Sunset Hills with their dog, Mazie.
Although they know they have been blessed with a long and fruitful life, they still warn that “growing old is not for sissies!”
