To the editor:
Thank you for the many motorists who assisted me with catching my escaped black lab Zoey on March 26.
She made it out of our yard to the Interstate 55 exit ramp at Meramec Bottom Road. I was having difficulty catching her, but several motorists willingly stopped, opened their car doors to her and even got out of their vehicles.
I so appreciate the kindness people showed to help me rescue my dog and avoid a tragedy of her running loose on Meramec Bottom, or even worse, running towards I-55. Thank you again for all of your care and concern for me and Zoey.
