The first public hearing is a request for a change in zoning from C-8 planned commercial to C-2 shopping on a triangular lot between Old Tesson Ferry Road and Griffin Road. The preliminary site plan shows only one existing structure at the proposed lot.
The second proposal is a request for a conditional use permit to operate a veterinary clinic and freestanding ATM in an existing shopping center at 4200-4300 Telegraph Road. There are no new developments being proposed, only the request for the CUP. The site is near the Dunkin’ at 4220 Telegraph Road.
The last public hearing is a request for a CUP to operate a car wash and vacuum bays at the corner of Jeffersonian Lane and Telegraph Road. According to the preliminary site plan on the Planning Commission’s agenda, the project features the demolition of two existing brick buildings and the construction of the new car wash. The lot will also adapt to the new use, with a new parking lot and a car wash line lane. The company requesting the CUP is Club Carwash, which recently acquired several St. Louis-area Tidal Wave car washes, including the Tidal Wave Car Wash at 5677 S. Lindbergh Blvd.
