A Mehlville School District employee hands out emergency food boxes from Operation Food Search to students receiving grab-and-go meals while students are out of school during the pandemic.

The Mehlville School District will continue to offer grab-and-go meals through the month of July.

The district, which has been offering grab-and-go meals since schools closed in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic, announced last week that it will continue providing meals through the end of July.

Beginning Monday, July 6, meals will be distributed Mondays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. only at Mehlville High School, 3200 Lemay Ferry Road, and Oakville High School, 5557 Milburn Road. The district will not resume service at its satellite pickup locations to save on transportation costs.

The district provided five meals to students at all seven of its pickup locations today, June 29, then will take the rest of the week off before resuming meal distributions July 6 at MHS and OHS only. There will be no meal distributions on Thursday, July 2.

More information about the district’s grab-and-go meals can be found here.
