Heather Gruenewald, daughter of Bob Gruenewald of St. Louis and Kathy Gruenewald of Imperial, and Patrick Schwalbe, son of Gary and Marietta Schwalbe of St. Louis, announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

Gruenewald of Arnold is a graduate of Fox High School. She earned a bachelor of science degree in secondary education from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a master’s degree in counseling from Missouri Bap-tist University. She is employed by the Fox C-6 School District in Arnold as a counselor.

Her fiance, Schwalbe, is a graduate of Oakville Senior High School. He earned a bachelor of arts degree in political science from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a master’s degree in teaching from Webster University. He is employed by the Fox C-6 School District of Arnold as a social studies teacher.

The couple plan a July wedding at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in St. Louis.
