The South County precinct of the St. Louis County Police Department has issued an endangered silver advisory for a man missing since June 6.
As of The Call’s press time, Steve Wehrman, 61, of the 9500 block of Herpel Lane in Green Park, had not been seen for nearly three weeks.
Security camera footage confirms that Wehrman stopped at the U.S. Bank branch near the South County mall on his way to work at Bartolino’s South on Lindbergh the morning of June 6.
He was headed to work on foot and never arrived.
At the Green Park Board of Aldermen meeting June 19, Green Park Officer Jeremy Hake said Wehrman was unfortunately still missing.
Wehrman has a learning disability and does not read, write or drive a vehicle. He did not have a cell phone with him.
He is 6-feet, 1-inch tall and weighs approximately 168 pounds, with brown eyes and gray hair, partially bald. He was last seen wearing a Cardinals baseball cap with a red bill, a black Ghostbusters shirt and jeans.
Anyone with information is urged to call 911, or 636-529-8210 to contact the county police department. The department encourages anyone to share any details they might have, even if you think it is insignificant.
