To the editor:
Is it my imagination, or have headlights on cars, SUVs and pickup trucks, etc. become extremely bright?
I drive a 10-year-old Volkswagen Jetta, and when I have to drive at night, the headlights are actually blinding. I encounter the same blinding light when an SUV or pickup truck is behind me. I have to dim my rearview mirror to reduce the blinding light just so I can see to drive. There is, however, no way to dim the blinding lights shining in my sideview mirrors.
How car manufacturers have been able to build automobiles with such extremely bright lights is beyond me.
Is anyone having this same problem, or is it just me?
