To the editor:
Our state constitution is being ignored and diminished by state politicians.
Last year, we Missourians were intelligent enough to choose our present governor, senators and representatives. These same elected officials now label us too stupid to understand what amendments we vote for.
The popular vote must never be ignored by our state government. Our constitution is not being respected when the vote of the people is not implemented. Our state government is not following the rule of law. It is blocking the citizen’s initiative, a basic constitutional right of Missourians.
