To the editor:
The 2nd District congressional election is close. So much is at stake. A year characterized by significant gas/diesel, groceries and healthcare premium increases, coupled with a $2T national debt, a war with Iran and geo-political and economic instability is not sustainable. Our farmers, veterans, small business owners and hard-working families are taking the brunt of this chaos and instability.
Where is Ann Wagner on these issues? What initiatives has she proposed to ease or explain current situations and the direction we are moving, economically and politically? She has been silent and absent. She seems to surface in many photo ops having nothing to do with the substance of these issues.
We need a critical thinker and forward-looking leader who understands the challenges our families and businesses are facing. A transparent and creative leader with courage and integrity. My vote goes to Mr. Fred Wellman.
Fred is an Army Veteran (pilot) who served four combat tours in the middle east. He’s out front, possessing a good grasp of the issues facing us and will not hide or shy away from difficult situations. He’s a leader who stands on principles and values that will serve to improve the quality of life for us all.
At this juncture, it’s time for new leadership and Fred Wellman is the man who will effect changes for the good of all of us.
