To the editor:
Good grief! Can our current city (clerk), Theresa Pfyl, and our beloved mayor, Joe Monteleone, find any other ways to waste taxpayer money? Now they’re looking for a new microphone and speaker system for the community room for the aldermanic meetings … is that so all three of the people who attend can hear them rubber stamp what they have already decided behind our backs? And the dais apparently is still under consideration … Yep … let’s do this and to heck with the citizens and the senior bingo and the Breakfast with Santa. Yep … we need those microphones. What a bloody joke!
