Don and Laurie Stoppelmann of Sunset Hills celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary July 22 with their children and grandchildren.
The couple renewed their vows during a sunset beach ceremony at Casa Ybel Resort on Sanibel Island, Florida.
Mr. Stoppelmann and the former Laurie Gendece were married July 22, 1972, at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church.
They are the parents of Erica (JP) Keating and Lauren (Scott) Maschmann, and grandparents of Jim, Bobby and Alex Keating and Ryan and Carrie Maschmann.
