Ronnie’s and other Marcus Theatres have two big releases this weekend, want your family to come back for movies

Marcus Theatres wants to get your family out of the house and to the movie theater for what the theater chain is calling a “safe and fun family movie night,” with masks and social distancing precautions taken.

Theaters have been light on new releases since the COVID-19 pandemic hit a year ago, but Marcus is celebrating two new family friendly releases this weekend.

Marcus said the theater chain is excited to present two new movie releases with “Tom & Jerry,” now playing in theaters, and “Raya and the Last Dragon” opening Friday, March 5 at Ronnies, Arnold, Chesterfield, Mid Rivers and St. Charles Cinemas.

For the kids at heart, join the adventures and classic rivalry of Tom and Jerry as they meet again in New York City. The eye-popping cat and mouse game is told with a blend of classic animation and live action.

Looking for action? A lone warrior, Raya, must track down the last dragon in order to save humanity and the world. Dive into the magical and animated world of Kumandra.

Book a personal auditorium for your family movie night or a child’s birthday party with Marcus Theatres Private Cinema for a safe, fun and special big- screen experience.
