UPDATED: Police report a murder-suicide in Lemay less than 24 hours after Walmart killing

Details are still sketchy on a murder-suicide Friday in Lemay, but police released the identities of the victim and her boyfriend, who they say killed her after a relationship of more than 20 years.

Police say Troy Bradley, 48, shot and killed his girlfriend Connie Dewrock, 46. The bodies were found at the couple’s house in the 700 block of Reed Avenue in Lemay.

At around 1:39 p.m., police responded to a call about a shooting at the house and found Dewrock on the front porch with a gunshot wound and Bradley inside the house with a gunshot wound. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

A gun was recovered at the scene by officers from the South County Precinct.

The murder-suicide is under investigation by the St. Louis County Police Department’s Bureau of Crimes Against Persons.

The homicide was the second in 24 hours in Lemay and the 63125 ZIP code, following a deadly shooting Thursday night at the Oakville Walmart.
