The Rev. Dr. Robert Kolb will preach at the German Advent/Christmas Service at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 13 at Peace Lutheran Church, 737 Barracksview Road.
Kolb, a professor at the Concordia Theological Seminary in St. Louis who did graduate study in Europe, will be accompanied by Peace Lutheran Peace choristers, comprised of fourth through eighth graders.
The youth, following social distancing and Centers for Disease Control guidelines, will sing carols in German.
Peace Lutheran Church Emeritus Pastor Rev. Dr. Dennis A. Kastens will serve as liturgist. Lay readers will assist as lectors.
The festive setting, including congregational singing, will be in German. However, English help will be provided.
The service will be broadcast over KFUO (850) AM radio the following week at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 20.
