Letter to the Editor
To the editor:
U.S. Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh has been accused of attempting to rape a high-school student while himself being a high-school student at 17 years of age, over 30 years ago.
I would like to see, by show of hands, how many elected politicians in Washington, D.C., can declare being innocent of ever committing an unlawful act, such as that which Judge Kavanaugh is being accused, including sexual harassment.
The period would be from the age of 17 years of age to the present.
I feel many actions taken are simply to thwart another political party, and I hope to see, someday, the beginning of a mature government conducted by our elected officials. It would be a great help to me when I go to the polls in November.
