Thomas “Tom” and Barbara “Barbi” Diehl of Oakville celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary Sept. 3. Mr. Diehl and the former Barbi Schenkel were married at the First State Capitol in St. Charles Sept. 3, 1983.
Mr. Diehl, who is retired, owned his own church and a fundraising agency, where he worked for 25 years. Mrs. Diehl is retired from the Bi-State Development Agency, where she worked for 24 years.
They are the parents of Adam Diehl of Virginia and Jason (Jenn Hayes) of Ballwin. The couple has two grandchildren, Amber and Alec Hayes.
