A pedestrian died last month after he was struck by a car on Lindbergh Boulevard in Green Park.
St. Louis County Police responded to a call Oct. 16 around 8:30 p.m. for a person struck by a motor vehicle in the 5900 block of S. Lindbergh Boulevard. Upon arrival police found a man, later identified as Kent Zimmerman, 76, with life-threatening injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A preliminary investigation revealed Zimmerman was walking southbound across the roadway when a 2015 Ford passenger vehicle traveling eastbound on Lindbergh Boulevard struck the victim.
The driver and passenger of the vehicle remained on the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Both refused medical attention at the scene.
