South County’s “biggest Fourth of July celebration” will be back at the Jefferson Barracks Veterans Memorial Amphitheater, 533 Bagby Road, on June 27. The free event will kick off Independence Day celebrations with live music, food trucks and fireworks.
Gates open at 5 p.m., so bring a blanket and get settled. A variety of food and drink trucks will be at the event, with classic American food, barbecue, gyros, Kona Ice and more.
While attendees wait for the fireworks to pop, Mirage — a local band — will bring the tunes. Their live performance starts at 7 p.m., and the fireworks show will begin at 9 p.m.
