In partnership with Monarch Immigration Services, the Affton School District is hosting an “Affton Afghan Community Celebration” on May 3 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Affton High School, 8309 Mackenzie Road.
The event – held in the school’s commons and gymnasium – will feature guest speakers, free Afghan food, friendly volleyball games and more.
