To the editor:
I know there must be a good reason why MODoT, St. Louis County, Spire, American Water, AT&T and MSD can’t get together on a schedule to make infrastructure repairs in a timely fashion, and in such a way that the end product is working utilities and smoothly paved roads with sidewalks that aren’t trip hazards. There must be, because no rational person would do things otherwise, but maybe we don’t have rational persons making these decisions. If there were, the sidewalks along Watson Road would be finished after a year and wouldn’t be location marked for utility work. As one of the taxpayers who make the salaries and profits available, I’d really like to hear an explanation.
