What’s with those poor folks in Oakville?
We’re spending $3 billion a week in Iraq, the real-estate bubble has burst, our great private investment banks were suckers in a huge Ponzi scheme that we taxpayers get to pay for, AmerenUE is asking for a 12-percent rate increase, gasoline is at $3.80 a gallon, groceries have gone through the roof and our real-estate taxes took the biggest jump in a generation.
And what do those dear folks in Oakville gripe about? Trash. No, excuse me, I’m wrong. It’s not trash. It’s who picks up their trash. Have I missed something here?
Trash is the least of our problems.
