St. Louis County is hosting three open houses this week – two of which will be held in South County – to review and discuss draft recommendations in the STLCO 2050 Comprehensive Plan.
The open houses will feature short presentations, interactive displays and opportunities to converse with the project planning team. Community members are encouraged to attend just one of the three open houses, as the information presented at each of the events will be the same.
The first open house will be held April 23 at the Meramec Valley Branch of the St. Louis County Library, 1501 San Simeon Way, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Two presentations will occur: the first at 5 p.m. and the second at 6:30.
The following day, April 24, the Grant’s View Branch of the St. Louis County Library, 9700 Musick Ave, will host the County’s second open house, also taking place from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Presentations will again occur at 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
The last open house will be held April 26 at the Florissant Valley Branch of the St. Louis County Library, 195 S. New Florissant Road, 63033, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Presentations will occur at 10:30 a.m. and noon.
“The County’s Planning Department has been hard at work developing draft recommendations addressing the future of transportation, housing affordability and many more issues that affect our lives,” County Executive Sam Page stated in a press release.
