Friday, Dec. 15 

  • The Cliff Cave Branch of the St. Louis County Library, 5430 Telegraph Road, is hosting “Budding Artists” – a preschool art program where the focus is on the process of making art rather than the finished product – from 10 – 11 a.m. Dress to be messy.   • Trinity United Church of Christ, 5200 Hilde Ave., is holding services at 10:30 a.m. “Open and affirming.”
  • First Unity Church of St. Louis, “a vibrant, inclusive Spiritual community” located at 4753 Butler Hill Rd., is holding an in-person service with guided meditation and youth education at 10:30 a.m. The service will also be streamed to YouTube. Immediately following the service, a Christmas luncheon with Santa will be held. 
  • Embrace Church, 314 S. Clay Ave., worships at 6 p.m. Zoom option available.
  • The Ulysses S. Grant National Historic Site, 7400 Grant Road, is hosting an open house from 5:30 – 6:45 p.m. The grounds and historic house will be illuminated by candlelight, period music will be performed in the parlor by guitarist Patrick Rafferty and food historian Suzanne Corbett will be talking about holiday culinary customs. The event is free and open to all ages.
