Heidi L. Schmeling, daughter of Christina K. Franklin and Harold J. Schmeling of south county, and Casey Bartels, son of Glenn and Jennifer Bartels of south county, announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
Schmeling is a 1996 graduate of Oakville Senior High School and a 2001 graduate of Southwest Missouri State University. She earned a bachelor’s degree in interior design and is employed by the Arhaus Furniture Co. as a design and sales consultant.
Her fiance, Bartels, is a 1996 graduate of Christian Brothers College High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in business from Southwest Missouri State University. He is employed by Fortec Medical as a territory manager.
The couple plan an Oct. 29 wedding at St. Vincent DePaul Church.
