To the editor:

I’m writing this letter in support of Dan Tennessen for alderman in Crestwood’s Ward 4.

Dan is a thoughtful, sensible and honest person who will always be available to his constituents. He is someone who will look at the city budget and consider innovative ways to improve efficiencies, thereby reducing costs while still providing needed services.

Dan has been our neighbor for 10 years. He has always been active in neighborhood activities and school events. In recent months, Dan has been attending the Crestwood aldermanic meetings, talking to neighbors about priorities and concerns and considering how he can serve the community as an alderman.

Dan is running for this position without a specific agenda or preconceived notions about how Crestwood can remain a great place to live and raise a family.

He simply wants the best for Crestwood and is willing to do the work required to find solutions.

Talk to Dan and it will become apparent that he is a good listener, a thoughtful problem-solver and a responsive community member.

Dan is exactly what we need at City Hall. I urge everyone in Ward 4 to join me in voting for Dan Tennessen for alderman.
