I am a Mehlville School District resident and parent of two children who attend Mehlville schools.

I would like to express to the district how much I enjoy reading the positive stories that are printed in the Mehlville Messenger.

I am glad that the district is committed to getting the word out about the exciting programs and events happening around the district.

I agree with the results of the COMPASS (Charting the Oakville-Mehlville Path to Advance Successful Schools) meeting that a direct mailing makes the most sense to most effectively reach the widest audience.

I am also impressed that the district is conducting the monthly COMPASS meetings as a way to involve district residents in discussions of topics important to the district. I would like to invite Mr. Mark Beck to attend the monthly district COMPASS meetings. They offer a constructive forum for every resident to share his opinions about the school district.
