Reader responds to criticism about driving

To the editor:

In response to Mr. Curcuru’s letter from the Sept. 30 edition of The Call about exiting from Interstate 255 to south Telegraph.

Sir, there is a yield sign at the end of that ramp. When I’m headed south on Telegraph and have the green light, I believe I would have the right of way to merge to the right to turn west on Kinswood. I can’t tell you how many times I have almost been hit by people who do not stop at the end of the solid line as you say they should, and anyway, I believe the yield sign, along with the green light, trumps the solid white line. I will continue to blast drivers refusing to yield my right of way at that intersection to avoid a collision.
