To the editor:
There are three reasons the Mehlville School District’s Proposition C did not pass:
Trust in the board.
Transparency in the financials.
The president of the Board of Education told “You Paid for It” in an interview on the superintendent’s raise at that time that the board does not make decisions based on what the citizens of the district think.
That is called condescending.
