Wow, what an exciting story. Tommy Boyd sure kept South County in a turmoil.

If an escaped child molester wasn’t such a serious matter, it could have become a Saturday Night Live episode. Thank the Lord no one was injured, and that’s a good thing.

I have to admit that the Missouri penal system has surpassed my expectations with regards to rehabilitation. While one guard was in the restroom, possibly reading the paper, he left his sleeping cohort to guard a dangerous felon. I’ll have to admit that Tommy Boyd was very much the gentleman. After he removed “Sleeping Beauty’s” handcuff key and jacket, he declined to steal his firearm for fear of disturbing his rest. What a gentleman. If we had more prisoners incarcerated such as Tommy Boyd, this world would be a much better place.

I guess the old adage is true, and that is, “if you pay people peanuts, you’ll attract nothing but monkeys .”
