To the editor:
On Aug. 2, Lemay Township voters who take a Republican primary ballot would make a wise vote for Teresa Douglas for Lemay’s Republican committeewoman.
Teresa has done yeoman service during her term.
She has been the steady steward of the Concord-Lemay Republicans, leading during challenging times and actively working issues of serious concern.
She has spoken about issues during the public forum at so many County Council meetings, fighting such issues as Complete Streets, a policy from Washington that mandates bicycle lanes in already crowded streets, and homeowners being required to be a licensed landlord for visiting relatives staying in their home.
She has worked as a member of the county GOP Central Committee, and gone to Jefferson City to advocate legislation to lower taxes and protect our rights from encroachments.
