To the editor:
I like reading letters to the editor because it gives you a better idea where people are coming from.
A lot has been talked about same-sex marriages, and even though it is supposedly a law on the books, the Religious Right think we need an amendment to our Constitution outlawing it.
Well, if we are going to put frivolous amendments to the Constitution, then we should add another one. Let’s ban religions from the state of Missouri as well as from the world at large. It seems religions are the cause of most of our problems in the world.
Also, while I am on it, when did God make Archbishop Burke, the Baptists, the Religious Right, Jerry Falwell, Pat Robertson, etc., the judges of the rest of us?
I thought we are all judged when we die by God and God only.
