Prefers to see trash cart in street instead of chicken bones, other litter

To the editor:

I have to wholeheartedly disagree with Joe M. Garavaglia’s recent letter to the editor regarding trash receptacles.

He obviously does not live in an area with crows and other wildlife.

We have a few people, not many, who use plastic bags instead of the trash carts. The crows especially are very adept at shredding these bags and spreading garbage all over the area.

I would rather see a trash cart sitting there for a few hours than chicken bones and other litter in my yard and street.

Maybe I should move to a pristine neighborhood with no crows and other wildlife.
