Verna Crawford Wohlschlaeger (née Klingemann) died Nov. 11.

Verna was born on Feb. 23, 1924. She was the dear wife of the late Norman Crawford and the late Harry Wohlschlaeger; the beloved mother of Rita (Byron) Hawkes, Joan (Donald) Cannon, Ronald (Melody) Crawford and the late Janet Crawford; the sister of Helen (Jim) Brewer, and the last surviving of thirteen siblings; the abundantly blessed grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, aunt, great aunt, cousin and friend of many.

Verna was a resident of Friendship Village for 20 years. There will be a visitation at Fey Funeral Home on Sunday, November 16, from 4 to 7 p.m. and on Monday, November 17, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 12 p.m. A burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society in Verna’s honor.
