Obituary For Ann M Reinhardt (nee Wachter)
Ann Marie Reinhardt (nee Wachter), 87, of St. Louis, died Thursday, Feb. 11 at Laclede Groves Lutheran Senior Services. Beloved wife of the late Hubert Reinhardt; loving mother of Diane (Raymond) Finocchiaro; Kate Reinhardt; the late Laura (Thomas) Wiley; and Mark (Annette) Reinhardt. Cherished grandma of Taylor (George) Reinhardt/Boden, Grace and Jonah Finocchiaro and Evan and Olivia Wiley; dear sister of Carol (Melvin) Herr and Jack (Carol) Wachter; dear daughter of the late Marie and Rudolph Wachter; sister-in-law, aunt, great aunt, godmother, cousin and friend of many and stranger to no one. She will be survived by our fondest memories in the hearts of all of us who loved her dearly. Ann was born Sept. 4, 1933 to the late Marie and Rudy Wachter. She married Hubert Reinhardt on June 10, 1961 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in St. Louis. She graduated from St. Elizabeths Academy and met the love of her life at a singles dance at the Casa Loma Ballroom. They both enjoyed bowling so much that Ann and Hub held their wedding reception in a hall at Tropicana Bowling Lanes in Richmond Heights in June 1961. Ann was a devout Catholic, avid gardener, loved to dance, play cards and laugh with her many close friends collected throughout her life. She was employed at the Dillards at the former Crestwood Plaza for 20 years. Ann wished to donate her body to science through the St. Louis University School of Medicine.
